Commercial Roofing: We’re checking things out for you!

Roofing systems are one of your most valuable assets that must be maintained and protected. Roof surfaces do not wear evenly due to weathering and other environmental exposures.

The proper maintenance of a roof system may extend the life of the roof as well as reduce the potential of water damage to the interior of the building.

No matter what your situation is, we are here to give you the 4-1-1 on commercial roof inspections. With winds, rain, and summer heat, your roof quite possibly has taken a beating over the past years.  To reduce the potential for damage, it is generally recommended that commercial roofing structures be inspected at least twice a year.

Here’s the ugly truth. No one wants to go to an office where the roof has started leaking or even worse! If your commercial roofing inspection hasn’t been completed in quite some time, Premo Roofing Company would be happy take care of that for you.

With the rainy season upon us, now would be the perfect time to get your commercial roofing inspection out of the way. If you want to review the roof yourself you can take a moment to look at your commercial building’s roof to check for some signs that you may need some work done.

If you can look from the ground try to answer these questions. (For safety reasons we don’t recommend climbing on the roof if you aren’t a professional):

1.) Are your gutters bent?

2.) Is there debris on the roof?

3.) Are there signs of wear?

4.) If your commercial building has shingles, are there granules missing?

5.) Are you missing shingles?

When completing an initial observation of the interior, note any evidence of roof problems such as:

  • Water stained ceiling tiles
  • Discoloration of interior wall surfaces
  • Deformations in the wall surface
  • Evidence of leakage around window frames
  • Rust or deterioration of roof structural components such as roof decking and or joists.
  • Mold on building surfaces

If your commercial roofing system has any of the above-mentioned problems, it’s probably a good idea to call in your local roofer. These are all signs that your roof is damaged.

If you need any help with your roof inspection, please don’t hesitate to contact Premo Roofing Company.
